Namibia Energy Corporation (NEC) has strengthened its presence in Africa’s energy sector by joining African Energy Week (AEW) 2024 as a silver sponsor. This move highlights NEC’s commitment to driving growth in Namibia’s oil, gas, and renewable energy industries. The event, held in Cape Town, offers NEC an opportunity to showcase its contributions and promote investment in Africa’s energy landscape.
Led by President and Co-Founder Marcio Rocha Mello, NEC will share its insights on Namibia’s growing upstream sector, particularly its involvement in notable deepwater oil discoveries such as Shell’s Enigma-1x and TotalEnergies’ Venus-1x.
