QKR Navachab Gold Managing Director, George Botshiwe has been appointed Chamber of Mines of Namibia’s second vice president.
Botshiwe’s appointment was announced at this years’ Mining Expo in Windhoek, following the Chamber’s a special general meeting.
The second Vice President seat fell vacant following the recent resignation of the first Vice President.
Meanwhile the Chamber’s Executive Committee for the period 2022-2023 will now have Orano Mining Namibia Executive Chairperson, Hilifa Mbako as the President, and Dundee Precious Metals Tsumeb Managing Director, Zebra Kasete as the first Vice President.
