Namdeb has confirmed the appointment of Riaan Burger, as the company’s chief executive officer with immediate effect.
Burger, a mechanical engineer by profession, has been with the company for 22 years and has extensive experience ranging from general management, leading long term strategic projects, developing new mining methods as well as leading change.
Prior to his appointment, Burger has been the chief operating officer since November 2011.
