JOHANNESBURG—Africa’s lifting and materials-handling sector is preparing to spotlight its top performers as nominations officially open for the 2nd Southern African Lifting Awards.
Following a successful inaugural event that established a new benchmark for the industry, the 2026 edition is scheduled to take place on 30 October at the Birchwood Hotel & Conference Centre in Johannesburg.
The awards serve as the continent’s only dedicated platform for recognising technical innovation, safety leadership, and operational excellence across the rigging and lifting value chain.
The strategic importance of the awards extends beyond mere recognition, offering a significant commercial advantage for participants in an increasingly competitive industrial landscape.
