Askari Metals Builds Momentum Across Multiple Fronts at Uis

Exploration success in the pegmatite sector increasingly depends on the ability to run several workstreams in parallel rather than sequentially, compressing the path from target generation to drill ready assets. ASX listed Askari Metals is demonstrating exactly that operating discipline at its Uis critical metals project in Namibia, where soil sampling, trenching, mapping and drill planning are all advancing simultaneously across a growing pipeline of targets.

Uis is positioning itself as a polymetallic pegmatite project with exposure to tin, tantalum, lithium, rubidium and caesium, giving Askari optionality across several critical mineral markets rather than dependence on a single commodity price cycle. The soil geochemical survey at licence EPL 7626 is now approaching 75 percent completion, a key input into Askari’s systematic exploration strategy designed to identify and prioritise concealed pegmatite targets across the broader project area. Once complete, the samples will be sent for laboratory analysis and integrated with geological, geophysical and hyperspectral datasets to sharpen exploration targeting across the licence.

Elsewhere on the project, first phase trenching is advancing at the Kestrel pegmatite target on EPL 8535, alongside detailed geological mapping and rock chip sampling across multiple priority targets on EPL 7345 and EPL 8535. Several of the identified targets carry genuine scale, with K10 showing an interpreted strike length of 3.1 kilometres, GP at 2.4 kilometres and Tawny at 2.2 kilometres, sizes that place Uis firmly in the category of pegmatite systems worth sustained investor attention.

Reverse circulation drilling planning is now under way on the high priority DP, PS, K9 and OP targets at EPL 7345, marking the project’s transition from target definition toward the next phase of value generating exploration. Over the coming month, Askari intends to complete the remaining soil sampling at EPL 7626, finalise first phase trenching at Kestrel, continue mapping and rock chip sampling across EPL 7345 and EPL 8535, receive and interpret assay results from ongoing field programmes, finalise reverse circulation drill targeting at DP, PS, K9 and OP then prepare for the next phase of drilling across the project.

“The Uis project continues to deliver a growing pipeline of high-priority targets as multiple exploration workstreams progress simultaneously across the project area. With the soil sampling survey at EPL 7626 nearing completion, trenching advancing at the Kestrel pegmatite target and RC drilling planning under way across the DP, PS, K9 and OP targets, Askari is rapidly building momentum toward the next phase of value-generating exploration,” explained Gino D’Anna, Executive Director. He added, “Importantly, our field teams continue to identify and refine new opportunities across EPL 7345 and EPL 8535, reinforcing our belief that Uis has the potential to host multiple mineralised pegmatite systems.”

For investors tracking critical minerals exposure in Namibia, the value of Askari’s update lies in its breadth. Rather than a single flagship result, the company is showing coordinated progress across an entire project system, the kind of execution pattern that typically precedes a step change in resource definition.
